JRoll's Latest Prediction

It's that time of the year. Time for Jimmy Rollins' annual prediction for the Philadelphia Phillies on Comcast Sportsnet's show, Daily New Live.

His previous predictions:

2007: Team to beat
2008: 100 wins

So what does he have installed for this season? JRoll's 2009 prediction: 112 wins.

Rollins has been correct on both of his previous predictions, but this one may be a stretch. Rollins backed up 2007, winning the MVP and making the postseason. In 2008, the Phillies won a total of 103 games, including the postseason. But 2009 may be different. The last team that was around that mark was the Seattle Mariners in 2001 with 116.

Is he out of his mind? Maybe. As long as he can make a statement on the field and win another World Series Championship, everything will be alright.

112 wins?! Is he counting spring training + regular season + WBC team USA + postseason + his XBox Live Madden League?
