And the winner is...

Phoul Ballz! As you may remember, Swing and a Long Drive, IRONPIGPEN: The Pork Stops Here!, and Phoul Ballz, each drafted all time Phillies teams, in fantasy baseball fashion.

The votes are in, and the winner is Jay, from Phoul Ballz, who dominated the polls.

Phoul Ballz: 116 votes
Swing and a Long Drive: 12 votes
IRONPIGPEN: 1 vote.

As you can see, it wasn't even close. Poor, IRONPIGPEN.

The winning roster

C: Mike Lieberthal
1B: Ryan Howard
2B: Chase Utley
SS: Granny Hamner
3B: Scott Rolen
OF: Richie Ashburn
OF: Chuck Klein
OF: Sherry Magee
SP: Grover Cleveland Alexander, Curt Schilling
RP: Ron Reed

Not only is this lineup explosive, but the pitching puts it ahead of the teams IRONPIGPEN and I drafted.

Congrats to Jay!

Call of the day: The 1993 Phillies were one of Harry's favorite teams. On October 13, 1993, Mitch Williams strikes out Atlanta's Bill Pecota for the final out of the National League Championship Series to send the Phillies to the World Series..

"Swing and a miss! Struck him out! The Phillies are the '93 National
League Champions! Mitch Williams, a 1-2-3 save and this place is bedlam at
Veterans Stadium."

Poor IRONPIGPEN is right!

Was it held against me I had Pete Rose or something?

We don't let him near a phone or have any pencil and paper in the clubhouse!!!

Hahah. Nah, Pete Rose is still loved by many. I think Jays pitching put him over the top.

It was the pitching....I stil have a place in my <3 for rose. But seriously, GCA and CS.....that would lead to very low run games by the opposition.
