Blanton and Kuroda Head To Head

The Phillies will have to shake off Friday's tough 4-3 loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Despite Moyer's strong pitching performance and 3-2 lead going into the ninth, Brad Lidge blew the save with the help of a key error by Pedro Feliz.

After ending their 7 game win streak, the Phils look to start a new one and rebound with Joe Blanton on the mound.

Blanton will be faced by Hiroki Kuroda, who the Phillies last saw in the National League Championship series, throwing at Shane Victorino's head.

Kuroda got the win in the NLCS as the Phillies had a tough time hitting him. This season, he is 1-1 with a 2.53 ERA after returning from an injury.

Even though his ERA is over 5, Blanton has won in three straight starts and is 3-1 on the road this season.
