Scott Eyre has been placed on the 15 day disabled list with a strained right calf. Kyle Kendrick was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.Eyre could be out for "quite a while."
Jason Donald will need surgery on his right knee and will miss 3-4 weeks. Lou Marson was also placed on the disabled list. Donald and Marson were both hitting under .235 in Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Hmm, quite a while for Eyre doesn't sound good. Kendrick in relief sounds okay though.
Hey Jay, good call about Kendrick...rookie. Kendrick doesn't have the confidence to pitch at this level anymore. He lost everything behind his pitches because he thinks they aren't going to do what he wants them to do, be strikes. I hate how he looks like a little kid too and I have wanted him off this pitching staff for a long time now. But my best friend who has front row season tix, is in love with him
