Jake Peavy is expected to miss at least a month with an ankle injury. An MRI showed that his tibialis tendon was torn.

John Maine and Jermey Bonderman were each placed on the 15 day disabled list with shoulder problems.

The Mets set a major league record with most Fernandos in a lineup: Fernando Martinez, Nieve, and Tatis. Two years ago, the Mets featured three Carlos': Carlos Delgado, Beltran, and Gomez.

Adam Sandler, a huge Yankee fan did not wear a hat. Kevin James, a die hard Mets fan wore the cap, but backwards.
