Sosa Tested Postitive

Everybody knows about the corked bat incident. Everybody probably "speculated" use of steroids. His name wasn't on the Mitchell Report. However, it is now "official" that Sammy Sosa tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

In 1998, Slammin' Sammy and Mark McGuire went head to head for the home run title. Big Mac finished with 70 HR. Sosa finished with 66.

In 2003, Sosa batted .279, hit 40 homers, drove in 103 runs, and had a .911 OPS. He finished eighth in the MVP voting.

In 2004, Sosa said his corked bat was mixed up with his batting practice bat which was used to provide entertainment, and extra souvenirs to fans. In 2005, he admitted to using creatine, a legal substance. What will be his excuse this time? We know he speaks English.

Just weeks after announcing his official retirement, Sosa is caught for PED.
