California Wins Little League World Series

The California kids beat the Chinese Taipei, 6-3, to win the Little League World Series.

Wen Hua Sung's two-run home run gave Taiwan an early lead. Trailing 3-0, Chula Vista (C.A) scored three times in the fourth inning before taking the lead for good.

Taiwan walked California's star Luke Ramirez for the second time opting to pitch to Bulla Graft, who struck out in a previous at-bat with the bases loaded. This time, Graft hit a RBI single to give California a 4-3 lead.

The Chinese Taipei kept fighting back. With one out, they loaded the bases, but Andy Rios turned an amazing double play to end the threat.

Chula Vista's starter, Kiko Garcia pitched 3.1 innings in relief to seal the win. He didn't allow a run and struck out six, including the final out.
