As seen on Phillies Nation.Sergio Escalona and Andy Tracy have been called up. Rodrigo Lopez was released in order to make room for Tracy on the 40-man roster.
Escalona was recalled from Double-A Reading. He is 1-0 with a 2.84 ERA with the Phillies this season. Left handed hitters are batting .143 against him.
Tracy adds depth to the Phillies bench. With the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, he hit .254 with 26 home runs and 96 runs batted in.
